The Geographical Review (ISSN 0016O7428) is published quarterly (January, April, July, and October) by the American Geographical Society. POSTMASTER: Please send address changes to The American Geographical Society, 120 Wall Street, Suite 100; New York, New York 10005. For 2008 the subscription price per volume of
the Geographical Review is $92.00 for individuals ($78.00 for Fellows of the American Geographical Society) or $160.00 for
institutions ($140.00 for Institutional Fellows). Student rates are $46.00 per volume. Outside the United States there is a $30.00 fee for postage (only $15 additional postage for Canada). Membership as an AGS Fellow is $58; for institutional members, $75. Single or back issues, as available, are $46.00 apiece for shipment in the United States, or $50.00 for foreign orders for individuals,
($52 for shipment in the US), and $62 for foreign institutions, with shipment billed at 15% of the total order. All remittances must be in U.S. dollars by check or money order payable on an American-based bank.
Claims for missing or damaged copies will be honored if submitted within four months of the date of publication by
subscribers in the United States and Canada, or within nine months of the date of publication by subscribers elsewhere.
After that time, replacement copies may be purchased as available back issues. Requests to reprint articles in coursebooks or in edited volumes should be directed to the staff of the American Geographical Society at their New York address.
